Introducing the final piece in Raven’s redesigned Damascus hunting skinning knife series — a magnificent blade featuring a light blue Blueheart handle. This knife completes Raven’s refined design puzzle, where he achieved a seamless, harmonious balance between his newly redesigned ergonomic handles and the triangular “V” shaped body, tang, and blade.

To complement this innovative handle and blade design, Raven reimagined his forging process for Damascus steel. After extensive experimentation, he developed a new, well-rounded method combining premium crucible powder high-carbon steels with stainless powdered steels, alongside traditional high and low carbon steels.

Months of testing led Raven to craft a unique Damascus billet by forge-welding ZDP-189 PM high-carbon steel with 154CM PM high-carbon stainless steel, combined with 316L and CPM S7 steels. This high and medium carbon stainless steel blend is further forge-welded with 8670, 15N20, 1095, and 80CVR2 steels.

The result is a superbly balanced Damascus billet offering exceptional corrosion and wear resistance, excellent heat tolerance, extraordinary tensile strength, outstanding edge retention, and ease of sharpening. This knife stands as a testament to Raven’s relentless pursuit of craftsmanship and innovation.
